BARGAIN shoppers headed for the car park at Monash University in Berwick last Saturday for the Winepress Church’s car boot market.
More than $300 raised from the market, which ran from 8am to midday, will be donated to the Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund.
The monthly market, held on the last Saturday of the month, sells new and pre-loved clothes, books, jewellery and children’s toys.
Market organiser Marissa Bernardo said the market attracted more than 200 people.
“Every month we donate the money raised to local charities and families in need,” she said.
“The more stallholders we get, the more money we can give back to the community.”
