Club gears up for best beachbods, babes, beauties

WHEN the sun is out we all seem to smile a little more according to Club 1422 marketing manager Annabel Newsome.
“Next week marks the launch of Club 1422 ‘beach bods, babes and beauties’ competition,” she said.
“Ten contestants will compete each week, with five males and five females strutting their stuff for a chance at the winning titles.
“Entrants and winners will have a chance to take home some fantastic prizes.”
Club 1422 promotional assistant Rikki Talbot said it is easy to be a part of this fabulous competition.
“We are looking for guys and girls who love to smile, enjoy the sun and are ready to party,” she said.
“This is not a modelling competition – we want people who have a personality.”
For an entry form, contact Rikki at the venue on 9704 2155 or ask for Rikki at Club 1422 on Friday.
Entrants will be required to supply their own clothing with two changes required.
First outfit is favourite beach wear then a summer night’s party outfit.
The competition will run over seven weeks with the first heat commencing 6 March.
The grand final will be held on Friday 17 April where two lucky winners, one male and one female, will take home massive prize packages.
Club owner, Pete Sampson, said everyone has been saddened by the recent tragic events in Victoria.
“Close to Narre Warren we have also had people and families who have lost homes, memories and much more in the fires,” he said.
“At 1422 we have decided to contribute a percentage of the door takings from each night of the beach bods competition.
“Proceeds from each competition night over the seven weeks will be donated to a local community group that has directly supported the victims, or services that have supplied relief to the victims of the Narre Warren fires.
“Please get behind us and support us at Club 1422 in conjunction with supporting your community.”
Club 1422 is at 1422 Lauderdale Road, Narre Warren.
