POLICE are calling for witnesses after gun shots were heard in Endeavour Hills on 23 February.
Ambrosia Court residents told police they heard the shots, believed to be from an air rifle, about 5.45pm.
Police said the residents were in the kitchen when they heard a cracking noise coming from the northern side of their property.
A hole in the security screen and a shiny piece of metal in the shape of a slug was found by the home owners.
Anyone with information is urged to call Senior Detective Mark Wiederhold at the Cranbourne police station on 5991 0600.
