Four wanted for card ‘game’

Police want to talk to these four about a series of offences with a stolen ATM card.Police want to talk to these four about a series of offences with a stolen ATM card.

AN ATM card from a stolen purse has been used at several Casey locations.
Glen Waverley Police believe four people are working together to steal ATM cards from lone women shoppers.
The ATM card used in Endeavour Hills, Narre Warren and Doveton was stolen from a woman in the car park of Brandon Park Shopping Centre, Wheelers Hill, on 18 January.
Police believe a man and woman distracted the lone woman, who was sitting in her parked car, by asking for directions to Werribee while another man and woman stole her purse.
The stolen credit card was also used to withdraw $1000 from an ATM in the foyer of the Prince Mark Hotel, Doveton.
Senior Constable Robert Hansen from Glen Waverley Police said police were investigating the possibility that the group watched targets enter their ATM pin number, then distracted them and stole their purse.
Police say the four involved are:
• A Caucasian man, aged 25 to 35, 170-180 cm, of medium build. On 18 January he was wearing a white T-shirt with text on the front, three-quarter length jeans and white runners.
Later at the Prince Mark Hotel he was wearing a black shirt with a kookaburra image on the back.
• A bald male with olive complexion, 35 to 45, who speaks with a strong accent.
• A woman with olive complexion, 30 to 40, 150 to 160cm, with shoulder to medium-length dark hair. She also speaks with a strong accent.
• A Caucasian woman, up to 160cm, of slim build.
