OATLANDS Primary School has raised $17,725.05 for Marysville Primary School.
During an assembly on Monday school captains Carly and Brendan presented Sue Hill, a teacher form Marysville Primary School, with the cheque.
The money was raised during a walkathon event on Monday 16 February.
Ms Hill said the money would be used to buy books, sporting equipment and classroom materials destroyed in the fires.
According to Ms Hill, the school had not reopened yet, and would not move back onto the site for at least another month.
Oatlands Primary School teacher Geraldine Gamble, who organised the walkathon, said the school was thrilled to help the Marysville community in such a significant way.
