THE owner of Fountain Gate Travel is searching for former clients who sent him postcards during their travel trips between 1986 and 1998.
Peter Garbett, who owned the store in Westfield Fountain Gate, told the News he wanted to set up a “where are they now” style meeting.
“I thought it would be great to catch up with them and reminisce about the old days,” he said. “When people were booking their holidays, before I handed them their tickets I would say that they could have them under one condition – that they send us a post card to the store,” Mr Garbett said.
Over the years the Pakenham resident collected more than 200 post cards from various clients travelling to various holiday destinations around the world.
“It became a unique and popular thing that we did at the travel agency,” the 70-year-old said.
For details call Peter Garbett on 5941 9490.
