POLICE have received negative feedback from the community with regard to road closures during the recent fires.
Home owners had complained that they couldn’t access their properties due to closure of roads for the safety of the public, according to Casey police. With full road closures, only people responding to the fires in fire fighting vehicles were permitted. Police have arrest powers if people disobey.
