LEADERS at Southern Cross Primary School will be running school assemblies and escorting visitors around the school as part of the leadership program for 2009.
The group of students involved in the initiative at the Endeavour Hills school were presented with their badges last Monday.
Assistant principal Anne Robinson said the students would develop self-confidence and work on their public speaking skills.
