BUDDING chess players from an Endeavour Hills school have taken home a silver medal in the Casey Interschool Chess Tournament.
Students from Chalcot Lodge Primary School competed against teams from Trinity College on Monday 23 March, with guidance from the chess club co-ordinators Ruth Fullard and Jeff Lester.
Chalcot Lodge Primary School’s ‘A’ team was awarded silver medals. Winning schools at the Casey Interschool Chess Tournament qualify for the State Chess Finals set to take place in October.
