THE five employees at Snooze Fountain Gate are attempting to sell plenty of children’s beds to support research into children’s health.
Snooze Fountain Gate is one of 72 Snooze stores which formed a partnership with Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) to support their research.
“We are pleased to be aligned with an organisation that is committed to making the lives of children happier and healthier, regardless of where they live,” Snooze Fountain Gate manager James Washfold said.
“Research into child health is one way to ensure that the money that we raise can help reach and benefit as many people as possible.”
Snooze has set an initial target of raising $450,000 for the MCRI over the next three years, via the sale of Simplee Kidz and Osteo Youth Support beds.
“Simplee Kidz is one of the most sold mattresses of the last ten years, it is especially good for asthma suffers and kids with allergies,” he said.
“The osteo bed is a slightly upgraded model, with great spring support.”
In addition, Snooze Fountain Gate is looking at local fundraising campaigns to help with their support.
Snooze will also use relevant MCRI research to further its scientific knowledge in the area of sleep science.
