Farm pavilion

AN INSPIRING display of riding ability by members of the RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) was the main attraction at the opening of the new pavilion at Myuna Farm on Saturday 15 April 1989.
People from the Urrimbirra Special Development School in Noble Park presented a display in front of a large crowd that attended the official opening.
Minister for Sport and Recreation Neil Trezise unveiled the plaque.
The 150 invited guests included then state treasurer Rob Jolly, RDA officials, Rotarians, and local councillors.
A bicentennial grant of $47,000 funded the construction of the pavilion. The pavilion was meant for groups requiring an indoor, dry area for group displays.
Myuna Farm is a public community farm in Kidds Road, Doveton, which attempts to preserve the agricultural history of the City of Casey.
The site, along the Dandenong Creek, includes river gums, wetlands, and bird life.
The farm includes educational activities enabling people of all ages and abilities to have contact with animals.
It is also the venue for the Doveton Show.
