Commuters get parking relief

COMMUTERS are celebrating 200 new car spaces at the Hallam Railway Station.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan told the News the much-anticipated extension to the station car park was complete.
“The amount of spaces has almost doubled, taking it from around 250 spaces to more than 450,” he said.
A secure bike cage was also installed at the station, offering secure, undercover protection for registered members who wish to park their bikes for the day.
Commuters can visit the website of Bicycle Victoria, which is managing the bike cage, and register as a member.
There are three bus routes that connect to the Hallam Railway Station, routes 893, 894 and 895.
