Festival laughs roll in

THE Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is pulling into Casey.
This year’s two-hour showcase on Friday 15 May will feature both new and established comedians from the Festival’s international program, reflecting the range, diversity and quality of the best of the 2009 Comedy Festival.
The Comedy Festival Roadshow was a sell-out event in 2007 and 2008
Some of the performances will include stand-up comedy and sketch comedy by comedians Sam Simmons and Andrew Stanley, hosted by Lawrence (Loz) Mooney.
The event will be held in the Hallam Community Theatre at the Hallam Senior Secondary College at 8pm.
The show may contain coarse language, sexual references and material that could offend. It is not recommended for children under the age of 15.
Tickets cost $25 for adults and $20 for a concession.
