STUDENTS from Heritage College ventured through Narre Warren South last Wednesday delivering gifts for Mother’s Day.
Some 70 Grade 5 and 6 students and parent volunteers visited about 350 homes around the school in the Heritage Hill and Montebello Gardens estates with hand made cards and bunches of white chrysanthemums.
Stephanie Mery, one of the mothers who received a gift, said the idea was beautiful.
“I look forward to this time every year,” she said.
Staff and students at Heritage College are preparing a similar activity for Father’s Day this year.
