Commuters have their say

CASEY commuters can have their say on the Cranbourne and Pakenham line train services by making a submission to a parliamentary inquiry by June 1.
South Eastern Metropolitan MP Inga Peulich encouraged people with concerns to make a submission.
She said she had received complaints about cancellations, delays in services and the limited park and ride facilities at local stations.
“The Brumby Government has had $300 billion dollars in revenue and 10 years to build the necessary transport infrastructure to make the trains run safely and on time and to match the population growth of our suburbs and they have failed,” Ms Peulich said.
“With the decade of neglect, the failure to invest and the lack of trains, Casey commuters are often stuck on the platforms and often late to work and late home at night.”
The committee will consist |of three government MPs, three |members of the Victorian Liberal National Coalition and a member of the Greens.
