Indecent exposure

By Lia Bichel
CASEY police have received three reports of indecent exposure in six days.
Young females have been the victims of the crimes, which have occurred before and after school hours.
Detective Sergeant Mark Sims said the incidents did not appear to be related.
“They happened quite some distance apart, and have different offender descriptions,” he said.
“It’s uncommon to have so many occur in a few days. It’s shocking behaviour.”
The first incident occurred in Narre Warren on 27 May, between 8.15am and 8.30am. Two girls, aged 12 and 13, were walking along Greenridge Avenue when a man who was walking towards them exposed his genitalia and touched himself.
The man is believed to be in his 20s, with tan/olive skin or of Maori appearance. He had short black spiky hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a black long sleeve T-shirt under a red T-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Senior Constable Miller at Narre Warren Police Station on 9705 3111.
The second incident occurred on 28 May, between 7am and 7.30am, on Robjant Street, Hampton Park.
A Caucasian man, believed to be in his 20s, followed a 17-year-old girl from the street through a reserve.
He was reported to have been masturbating while he followed her.
The man was described as being 6ft tall, with short black hair, and was wearing orange work pants.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Senior Detective Shane Moody at Cranbourne Police Station on 9705 0665.
The third incident occurred in Cootamundra Street, Doveton at 3.30pm on 1 June.
Police want to speak with a man in relation to a wilful and obscene exposure committed against a seven-year-old girl walking home from school.
The offender is described as about 23 years old, slim, with brown medium length hair. He had a tanned or olive complexion and was wearing a green T-shirt.
Anyone who has seen a man of this appearance driving a large dark blue older model sedan or anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Senior Constable Marc Newton at Cranbourne Police Station on 5991 0665.
Det Sims said if anyone is a victim to obscene exposures, they should stay in a public area and report the matter to police immediately.
