THE Narre Warren Chamber of Commerce is launching its new website.
Chamber president Bob Burns said the website was another tool the chamber was using in an effort to attract more members.
The easy to use website, created by Darius Mikolajewski from Allwelt International, will feature a business directory for the Casey community.
Mr Burns said anyone could list a business on the website for free. “Our intention is to list every business in the Narre Warren area, in particular home-based businesses, on the website,” he said.
Mr Burns said the chamber was also looking at developing a cross-marketing initiative, enabling members to do business with other members.
“We will work as a team,” he said.
Currently the Narre Warren Chamber of Commerce has 42 members, with Mr Burns hoping to reach 50 members. “The previous highest number of members we have ever had was 20,” he said. “So we are very happy with how the membership is going.”
