New hotel opens in Doveton

THE highly anticipated Chifley Doveton opened its doors last week, inviting the public to experience an entertaining and relaxing overnight experience.
The 4.5 star, 128-room hotel was developed and is managed by Constellation Hotels.
Guests and local residents have access to unique dining and entertainment at the Coldwater Creek Tavern and Microbrewery, which offers an array of international, domestic and home-brewed beers.
“We’ll have three types of beer made in the hotel for guests and local residents,” Constellation Hotels managing director Jonathon Wooller said.
The guest rooms and suites are fully-appointed with televisions, high-speed broadband, mini bar and a safe.
The hotel was developed with environmentally-friendly features and boasts extensive business facilities, complimentary onsite parking, and an internet corner.
Guests can access a full gymnasium with spa, sauna and pool, which is located in the Freeway Sports Centre next to the hotel.
Chifley Doveton hotel general manager Matthew Ryan said the hotel received a warm welcome since it opened on 1 June.
“The hotel looks great and there has been a lot of interest from the public,” he said. The grand opening celebrations are expected to be held in September.
