A MAN is nursing several stab wounds at The Alfred hospital after a brawl in Chadstone on the weekend.
At 2.50am on 20 June, a 22-year-old Endeavour Hills man was stabbed six times during a brawl between two groups of men, believed to be aged in their 20s.
The fight began at a licensed venue and spilled onto Warrigal Road in Chadstone.
Police said three men tried to run from the scene but were pursued by a group of up to eight people. They caught up with the three victims and the Endeavour Hills man was stabbed up to six times all over the body. He was taken to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries. As of Tuesday, he was listed in a satisfactory condition.
A 24-year-old Wantirna South man was also stabbed in the lower back and was taken to The Alfred hospital in serious condition. He has since been discharged.
Police said a third victim was assaulted but not stabbed.
Police said two men are believed to be responsible for the stabbings.
No arrests have been made and police are appealing for public assistance to help locate the attackers.
