POLICE are continuing cracking down on crime along the Cranbourne rail line.
Transit, traffic, uniform members, undercover police, the dog squad and mounted branch patrolled and targeted several stations along the Cranbourne line, including the Dandenong station.
Police spoke to 110 people, issued 16 penalty notices and made four arrests, during the operations. They also checked 509 vehicles, nabbing two drink-drivers and one drug-driver.
The action is part of the Safe Stations Operation focusing on increasing police presence at railway stations in the Dandenong area.
