Assault appeal

NARRE Warren man was taken to Dandenong Hospital suffering from a shattered jaw after an assault at a nightclub in Narre Warren last week.
Police said the 22-year-old man was playing pool with his girlfriend and some friends on Thursday 10 July at Club 1422.
According to police, at about 12.30am the victim’s girlfriend was dancing and thought a “sleazy guy” was looking her and her friends up and down.
The boyfriend went over to his partner and gave her a hug to signal that she was spoken for.
Police said a verbal argument broke out and the offender punched the boyfriend.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Senior Constable Ed Keon-Cohen at the Cranbourne police station on 5991 0600.
