HOMICIDE Squad detectives have charged a 22-year-old Narre Warren South man with one count of murder, after a man was killed with a tomahawk in Narre Warren on Tuesday. The incident occurred just before 10.30pm in a house in Bowman Close, after an altercation between two men.
The victim, a 43-year-old man, was flown to The Alfred hospital but later died. The man was bailed by police on Wednesday morning to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later in the day.
