THE Casey community is being encouraged to dig deep by supporting a fundraising market day in Narre Warren.
President of Yooralla’s Narre Warren Central Children’s Centre Margaret Watson said the fundraiser, which will kick off Early Childhood Intervention Awareness week, would be held at the Malcolm Court centre on Saturday 15 August from 10am to 2pm.
The family orientated market will include arts and crafts, children’s toys and clothing, surf wear, chocolates and jewellery.
“There’ll be something for everyone,” Ms Watson said.
The money raised will be used to purchase arts and craft resources and buying a new bridge for the playground.
With about 65 children, Yooralla’s Narre Warren Central Children’s Centre provides three and four-year-old kindergarten inclusive groups that welcome children of all abilities.
The groups provide an environment where children, with and without disability, and their families can be included and benefit from learning from each other. The children with a disability also have access to the additional support and therapy.
