POLICE are investigating a fatal house fire in Narre Warren last Wednesday night.
About 20 firefighters from Narre Warren and Berwick were called to the blaze on Sweeney Drive at about 6.45pm. Upon entering the house they located a man in the bathroom. The 54-year-old, who was the only occupant of the house, died at the scene. Police believe the man was cooking in the kitchen on a gas stove when his clothing caught fire.
