Preps in plasma mode

PREPS at a Narre Warren school are using plasma television screens as learning tools in the classroom.
The students at Oatlands Primary School are keeping up with technology by using the 55-inch screens for literacy and maths. Prep teacher Lisa Mills said the new screens were a way of the future for education. “They are fantastic and get the kids so engaged and interested in learning,” she said. Ms Mills said the plasma television screens were hooked up to laptop computers, allowing teachers to access the internet immediately.
“The prep students can play maths games by either using the wireless keyboard or by simply touching the screen,” she said.“This has opened up a whole new world to the prep children.”
