STUDENTS at Southern Cross Primary School reversed roles and were teachers for a day.
The Grade 5 and 6 students use an interactive whiteboard to teach various maths activities to the students in Grades 1 and 2 every week.
The maths program is based around cross-age tutoring between the students, under the guidance of Grade 6 teacher Justin Thompson. The students not only improve their mathematical knowledge, but also develop attentive listening and a sense of achieving their personal best at school.
