Call for male mentors

THE City of Casey is calling for male mentors to participate in the upcoming men’s mentor breakfast in September.
The breakfast, which is set for Tuesday 1 September between 7am and 9am at the council chambers in Narre Warren, will provide an opportunity for adults to mentor male Year 11 students about educational possibilities and career options.
This year’s guest speaker is former AFL player and the former coach of St Kilda Football Club Stan Alves.
The cost to attend the breakfast as a mentor is $40, which includes the sponsorship of a student.
Mentors are encouraged to register from a wide variety of careers and professions, as the only requirement is a willingness to share information and advice from your own experiences.
Male Year 11 students, or age equivalent, who are interested in attending the breakfast should register by Friday 14 August.
Phone 9705 5200.
