Detective Senior Constable Simon Polson from Narre Warren police station said the man gained entry to Positano Restaurant along the Princes Highway on Thursday, 6 August by forcing a door between 1am and 6am.
He said once inside the restaurant, the man went to the manager’s office and stole the cash. He then fled the restaurant and police believe he may have used a pushbike. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Senior Constable Simon Polson on 9705 3134.
