MARAMBA Primary School students braved the cold weather and dressed in their pyjamas to raise money for people in need.
The students raised about $600 with the gold coin donation on the dress up day. The money will be donated to the Melbourne City Mission, which assists homeless communities in Melbourne. Student Representative Council co-ordinator Doris DeLuca said the event, which SRC organised, was a great success.
“It is fantastic to have such great support from the Maramba community for our fundraiser events,” she said.
The Student Representative Council is responsible for a variety of exciting events and fundraisers throughout the year.
