HUBBIES in the City of Casey are supporting the Bonnie Babes Foundation by donating $30 for every job they do in the week leading up to National Babies Day.
The local Hire a Hubby franchise, that provides a complete handyman service for property maintenance, will be lending a helping hand to the charity on Saturday 19 September.
National Babies Day is a time to celebrate healthy babies across Australia and remember those who passed away too soon.
The event raises money to help decrease the loss of children every year in Australia and provide a better quality of life for babies born prematurely struggling for survival in intensive care. The Bonnie Babes Foundation helps more than 17,000 families each year.
“National Babies Day is a wonderful celebration of Australia’s children. Families that support this project help other families share in the joy of a new life,” Bonnie Babes Foundation founder Rachel Stanfield-Porter said.
According to the Bonnie Babes Foundation, one in every four pregnancies ends in a loss and one in every 10 babies is born prematurely.
