Brazen burglary

By Kelly Yates
Police said a man, aged in his early 20s, gained entry to the Kennington Park Drive property on 26 August at 2pm by smashing a bathroom window.
Once inside, the man ransacked the house.
According to Senior Constable Chris Blazevic, the home owner was in the house at the time of the break-in.
“She saw the offender in the ensuite area, exited the house and locked the door,” he said.
“She then called the police.”
The offender is described as 185cm tall with very dark short scruffy hair, wearing blue jeans and carrying a dark coloured backpack.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Senior Constable Mark Wiederhold on 9784 3174.
