Firies want a fair shake

FIREFIGHTERS from Narre Warren will be out and about this weekend collecting money for an upcoming project.
The Narre Warren Fire Brigade members are set to rattle the tins on Saturday 5 September, from 9.30am to 3pm at the Fountain Gate Homemaker Centre for one of their biggest fund-raising efforts of the year.
The money raised will go towards equipment for their new fire station.
Michele Sarkissian said the brigade would be responding to any incidents on the day from the Fountain Gate Homemaker Centre.
“So come on down, bring the kids to see our trucks, our firefighters, and the non-operational brigade members,” she said.
