Thumped, bike stolen

POLICE are calling for witnesses after a man punched a 16-year-old and stole his BMX bicycle in Narre Warren last weekend.
According to police, two teenagers were riding their bicycles in Fleetwood Drive on Sunday 30 August at 7.40pm when they were approached by two men in a dark-coloured Ford.
Police said the offenders began yelling abuse at the youths and got out of the vehicle, possibly a green mid-’80s model, and attacked one of them.
The victim, from Narre Warren, received minor lacerations as a result of being punched.
The stolen BMX bicycle is a red Haro Revo model valued at $400.
