Young performers weave their magic

ACTORS at James Cook Primary School have been cast under a magic spell as they gear up for the school musical Once Upon a Spell.
The performance, which tells the tale of children reading stories only to discover that evil witches have put a spell on the stories, will be held at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong on Monday 7 September.
The students will entertain audiences with a mixture of dancing and singing.
At the Endeavour Hills school, performing arts is one of many curriculum areas provided for the students, allowing them to develop their own talents and achieve a range of successes.
