Draw an early position for motorcycle run

FAMILIES are encouraged to head to the Cranbourne town centre early on the morning of the MRA Cranbourne GP Run to enjoy an array of free entertainment.
This year’s MRA Cranbourne GP Run will be held on 17 October with entertainment beginning at 8.15am.
For the first time this year, all family activities have been extended until 11am to keep families entertained after the wave-off.
Some of the activities include the Sandwizard activity centre, which allows children to create imaginative sand art to keep, face painting, go-karts, a car display and Casey’s vice youth bus.
Casey council said a soon-to-be-announced celebrity will wave off the thousands of motorcyclists gathered at the main street at 10am for their journey to the Grand Prix track at Phillip Island.
Casey councillor and chairperson of the event’s organising committee Kevin Bradford said he encouraged Casey residents to flock to Cranbourne for one of the most exciting events of the year.
“There are so many free activities on offer this year in addition to the motorcycles that make the MRA Cranbourne GR Run a superb day of family entertainment,” Cr Bradford said.
For information call Casey’s events unit on 9705 5200.
