TRAFFIC signals and safety upgrades will soon be at a number of Casey intersections following a $2.9 million funding announcement this week.
The local projects will include $2.2 million for traffic signals at the Clyde Road and Centre Road intersection in Berwick, $550, 000 allocated to upgrade lighting at the intersections of Heatherton and Power roads in Endeavour Hills, and Princes Highway East and Fitzgerald Road in Narre Warren.
The right turning lane from Narre Warren North Road into Maramba Drive in Narre Warren and installation of a right turning signal will be done at a cost of $150,000.
Roads and Ports Minister Tim Pallas said road safety improvements were a major priority for the Victorian Government.
