HERITAGE College students dressedup as their favourite book characters as the school celebrated Australia’s longest running children’s festival, Book Week.
Little Red Riding Hood, Spidermanand Where’s Wally were some of thecharacters spotted in the school yard as the students in grades prep to six took part in a dress-upparade.
The theme of this year’s event at the Narre Warren South school was a book safari, which encouraged the students to recognise the adventure that could be found in books.
Principal Mike Dye said it was exciting to see such a variety of characters represented in the dress-up parade.
