YOUNG people from Narre Warren South will soon be geared up to make a noise, thanks to a $10,000 music equipment grant from the Brumby Government.
The grant, which has been provided to Casey Council, will be used to purchase musical equipment ranging from microphones to drum kits, guitars to keyboards, and mixing desks to production software as part of the Victoria Rocks initiative.
First established in 2007/08, Victoria Rocks is a four-year $7.1 million State Government initiative that aims to assist budding musicians to unleash their creativity and learn new skills.
