THE builder of Casey RACE has devised a solution to repair the slippery floor surfaces surrounding the pools.
After three months of what the council describes as “rigorous testing”, City of Casey director of infrastructure services Ray Butler said a solution to repair parts of the pool deck had been formulated. The repairs, which involve sanding back the top surface layer and coating it with polyurethane, which contains grit particles, will be undertaken over the next 10 weeks by the builder.
