CASEY remains on the list of municipalities being targeted by police as part of Operation Ardent.
Police are swarming the state’s most dangerous roads in a bid to tackle a recent spate of road deaths. Operation Ardent is Australia’s most concentrated road policing blitz, with police set to zero in on a suburb with a bad history of road deaths and injuries.
Police will target speeding, hooning, drunk and drug drivers, and are warning motorists that excuses won’t be tolerated.
A fifth operation is planned for next month.
