Vital funds for kid play

CASEY Kidz Klub has scored $1000 after golfers recently raised money to purchase play equipment for the organisation’s young people with disabilities.
Casey Kidz Klub supports about 45 children and young people with disabilities, offering them activities after school and during school holidays. Cranbourne’s Amstel Golf Club manager Peter Craig recently handed over a cheque to Johanna Snelleman, the CEO of Marillac, which is the non-profit organisation that runs Casey Kidz Klub, and support worker Denise Ford.
“We knew there were many organisations that could make great use of the money, and we really wanted to make a difference to a service in this area,” Mr Craig said.
“Casey Kidz Klub is an ideal recipient – they are local and they provide a vital service to kids and families who can’t access other services.”
For details, call Marillac on 9591 6400.
