A NARRE Warren South school held its second annual art expo last week with about 300 people taking a sneak peek at the creations displayed.
The opening event at ICA Casey College on Thursday night was a success, according to visual art specialist Petra Glaser.
The art works included both 3D and 2D works such as masks, mosaic portraits, collage and mixed media works, ceramic terrace house facades, rainforest watercolour paintings which were created by students in prep to year nine.
“The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic,” Ms Glaser said.
“There are some very proud and delighted parents of students who are thriving in the arts program at the college.”
Numerous works were chosen by art representatives to be showcased in future exhibitions next year.
