COMMUNITY groups in Casey are encouraged to apply for up to $50,000 worth of funding to build or modify a Men’s Shed as part of the Victorian Government’s third round of grants.
The Men’s Shed program addresses the social, health, wellbeing and learning needs of men who are often experiencing complex and difficult changes in their working lives, physical and mental health and their relationships.
As well as giving men somewhere to get together, Men’s Sheds can link them to information and services for a range of issues.
The Government has invested $4 million over four years in the Men’s Sheds program.
Applications for the third round of grants close on Thursday 10 December.
