IT WAS business as usual at Casey Council on Friday, one day after a severe storm damaged facilities at the main civic centre building in Narre Warren.
A number of the council’s facilities were affected by last Thursday’s storm, including Casey ARC, several children’s service centres, the Casey Works Centre and the Percy Trewin Annexe building.
Acting chief executive Steve Dolton said all of council’s customer service centres were fully operational on Friday.
There was some water damage in the stretch room, weights room and toilets at Casey ARC that required part of the upper floor to be closed. The section was opened again on Monday lunchtime.
