A EUMEMMERRING woman is pleading with the thief who stole her precious silver pendant to return it.
Daisy Luke said the stolen pendant, which features 17 opals, was the last gift she received from her husband, Robert, who died in 2008. She says the pendant was stolen from her house on the corner of Waygara Street and Olive Road on 20 November.
“It’s very special to me,” she said.
“I feel sick at the thought that someone stole it. I haven’t been able to sleep.”
The thief also stole some other jewellery including a watch, rings and a pair of opal earrings.
Constable Emily Stephenson from the Endeavour Hills police station said officers were investigating the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
