POLICE have not ruled out a connection between two laptop thefts in Berwick last month.
A $1000 laptop computer was stolen from the Berwick Church of Christ on Centre Road about 7am on 29 December when thieves forced entry through a window.
On the same day, a laptop valued at $500 was taken from Adelaide Close in Berwick between 9.50am and 10am.
The offenders possibly gained entry to the house through an unlocked laundry door, police said.
Police are reminding residents to keep houses locked.
