A CRANBOURNE man has been charged with 198 offences including theft, making false documents and obtaining financial advantage by deception.
The man, aged in his 30s, was charged in relation to issuing what police describe as fraudulent roadworthy certificates for un-roadworthy vehicles.
Police executed a search warrant on a Cranbourne home on 18 December.
The man was released pending summons. Casey Traffic Management Unit (TMU) Acting Sergeant Allen Inderwisch said VicRoads investigators were working with police to locate the vehicles believed to have been issued with the false roadworthy certificates.
