POLICE are appealing for witnesses after they nabbed a P-plate driver from Doveton driving on the wrong side of the road in Rosebud.
They say they saw the 20-year-old man in a silver Commodore sedan speeding on the wrong side of the Mornington Peninsula Freeway near Jetty Road about 9pm on Monday 11 January.
The car is alleged to have been travelling at 150km/h.
Arresting police took the driver to the Rosebud Police Station where he recorded a blood alcohol reading of .145.
His vehicle was impounded for 48 hours and he is expected to be charged by summons with traffic-related offences.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
