Creek gets facelift

REHABILITATION works have begun at Troups Creek in Narre Warren North.
The work is being undertaken by the Waterways Alliance, on behalf of Melbourne Water, in an effort to control erosion and help improve the health of the creek.
The Waterways Alliance will work alongside the City of Casey Council to rehabilitate the creek in three stages during the year. The project will initially remove fire-damaged trees and weeds in stage one, while stage two will include works to control erosion. More than 5,400 native plants will be planted in the area as part of stage three works. For details about the Troups Creek rehabilitation project call Melbourne Water on 131 722.
