THE Parkers travelled to Mulgrave CC where the top two sides did battle. On this occasion the teams were able to win on only two rinks, picking up just four points.

Division 3: Unable to judge the wind on the slowish green, Pat Moevasa, Andrew Brandolin, Neville Hendrie and skip Graham Slight suffered a 23-shot loss. Tom Kirkpatrick, Jeff Crozier, Geoff Amp and skip Lionel Williams got a handy lead early and hung on to it to win by six shots.
Dropping a seven may have cost Ron Beverly, Lance Davis, Mark Paton and skip Geoff Ladner the game, losing by seven shots.
Sean McDonald, Ken Cobden, Zac Storm and skip Ian Bartlett had trouble getting multiplies but still hung on to win by four shots.
Mulgrave CC 14-105 d Hampton Park 4-85.
Division 5: At home, the Parkers crushed Pakenham by a very large score, 73 shots.
Allan Unwin, Jos Van Hout, Larry Simpson and skip Rob Woff got out to a 20-shot lead before the tea break and ended up winning by 19 shots.
It was pretty tight for the first half, then Les Unwin, Keith Damon, Bob Nicol and skip Bob Naismith powered away to an 18-shot win.
Vince Kovacic, Allan March, Ray Leggett and skip Paul Barna had done the hard work early, securing a 16-shot win.
Big end scores enabled Gerry Cox, Fred McBrian, Alan Wilcock and skip Bill Webb to record a 20-shot win.
Hampton Park 18-137 d Pakenham 0-64.
Electric Light: Bob Naismith, Keith Damon, Andrew Brandolin and skip Lance Davis had a good 16-shot win.
A strong back end game let Sean McDonald, Christine Hendrie, Graham Slight and skip Geoff Ladner to have an easy 21-shot win.
Len Bell, Ray Leggett, Neville Hendrie and skip Geoff Ampt played shot-for-shot to end up with a draw.
Hampton Park 11-75 d South Oakleigh 1-38.

Division A2: After having played well to defeat Chelsea, the Parkers only need to win one of the next two games to finish on top.
It took Len Bell, Allan Unwin, Neville Hendrie and skip Grace Hogan 21 ends to get in front and then they held to win by two shots. Keith Damon, June Damon, Alan Wilcock and skip Mary Hose levelled the score five times with a draw being the end result.
A late run allowed Dot Carr, Ron Beverly, Rob Woff and skip Bob Naismith to get up by eight shots.
Hampton Park 2-66 d Chelsea 0-56.
Division B2: After getting a walk-over from Chelsea, the side cannot lose top spot on the ladder and is now looking forward to playing in the finals.
